Before watching, I read a review somewhere on the internet that The Pirates! Band of Misfit is not a good film, so I am skeptical. Well, after spending the minutes with Pirate Captain and his stupid crew, I think it's not "that" bad. While the jokes is rarely put a smile in my face, I am impressed with the details of the animation, especially the beards. The characters are unique, but not memorable. For an Aardman's animation, it is just mediocre.
