I always like the idea of a group of heroic people with different characteristics, just like my old favorite sentai tokusatsu - Google V. In Gangster Squad, the Google Red is Josh Brolin. He assembles a group of detectives to battle the evil Sean Penn. Unfortunately, I think the group is one-dimensional and each character doesn't developed well. Combining that with predictable intrigue, lame actions, and boring dialogues, I believe that Google V beats the hell out of Gangster Squad.
