MATRU KI BIJLEE KA MANDOLA (2013)

Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is a visual comic. All the characters are hyperbolical and the events are satyrical. While the story is predictable and quite typical for Bollywood film, I like the way I can see personal directional touch on this film. From the first image of a limo in the field to the pink buffalo, I am pleased with the way the film is presented. Sometimes the humor gets dry and the scenes are just out of the blue, but I am having a good time with Matru and Bijlee and especially with the super interesting Mandola, performed wonderfully by Pankaj Kapoor.
