Blending the magic of life with the harsh problem of reality in a long and epic melodrama, Fanny och Alexander gives me extraordinary acting ensemble, gorgeous set and props (especially in the puppet theatre), and chilling atmospheric story of a Swedish family. It is inspiring to see such wonderful actor staging and their interaction, wrapped in brilliant production design. Since I watched in DVD, I believe that experiencing Fanny och Alexander in theater will be a true satisfaction.
